FAQs

Is it really all-natural?

Yes - all the ingredients in our anti friction chamois cream are 100% naturally derived. This means there are no synthetic/man-made ingredients and we’re very proud that our cream is also 100% made in Australia.

Does it harm my clothes/saddles?

No – as it is all-natural, our anti friction cream washes out in warm or hot washes and will actually moisturise your saddle and prolong its life due to the natural butters and oils.

How long does it last?

Our anti friction cream will last for years if kept at the correct temperature, but it is recommended to use it within three months once opened due to seasonal temperature changes.

does it work in wet and dry conditions?

Our chamois cream works in all conditions but excels in the wet. Lanolin, which is one of our main ingredients, binds to water and prevents it from soaking into the skin and creating that sandpaper feel you can get with other creams.

How much should I use?

You should use a generous amount, approximately the size of a 50c piece. You generally won’t need to reapply as our chamois cream will last for hours.

where do I apply it?

You can apply our cream directly to skin and/or fabric. It is essential to remember that before applying that your hands should be clean to prevent bacteria. As it is made of all-natural ingredients, if there is any excess you can apply it anywhere on your skin as you would your usual moisturiser.

Why do some other brands have larger containers of cream?

Other brands have creams that are full of water and cheap synthetic ingredients, unlike our cream which is all-natural, no nasties, and no surprise ingredients so you need less with each application.

How should I store it?

Our anti friction cream should be stored at temperatures under 30 degrees. As it is natural, the consistency can fluctuate with temperature changes. It may soften in summer and harden in winter. Once in contact with skin, it will soften due to natural body temperature.
